Maxwell, Los Angeles

I’ve been a PA in Los Angeles for 2 years now. I started PAing right out of college and was INSANELY lucky with my first project. I was brought on as the walkie PA for The Fabelmans. It still feels like a dream. Working alongside Spielberg and that incredible cast was surreal. I continued on to work on several tv shows including Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and Hacks.

PAing is a grind. It’s hard as hell and will beat you up if you let it. The only way I’ve been able to make it through each day has been by keeping a positive attitude and embracing the wonderful people working by my side. I’m excited for what the future brings.

I 100% support the strikes. I’m thrilled that WGA/ SAG-AFTRA are finally taking a stand. However as a PA, and industry worker in general, the strikes have been tricky financially and mentally for me. I moved out here to work in the film industry and now that it has come to a halt I’ve struggled finding my purpose and consistent work. LA is a VERY expensive place and rent as well as food prices have been killing my wallet.
